Silesian Guitar Autumn: Pona Sound at Mediateka Tychy

October 30, 2022

The classical and acoustic guitar are notoriously unforgiving when it comes to live sound reinforcement. Subtle nuances in articulation, quick dynamic shifts, and the natural resonance of the instrument’s body easily get lost or muddled in conventional audio setups. At the Silesian Guitar Autumn festival held at Mediateka in Tychy, we demonstrated how advanced technology can preserve these vital details.

In collaboration with Yayuma Audio, we brought a new level of sonic fidelity to the festival’s evening concert series by deploying our innovative Pona Sound audio processing.

Delivering Pure Sound in a Live Venue:

  • Crystalline Clarity – Eliminating the digital artifacts and harshness that frequently flatten the sound of acoustic string instruments.

  • Authentic Timbre Reproduction – Retaining the true, organic character of the guitars, even when amplified for a large hall.

  • Uncompromised Precision – Allowing a highly discerning festival audience to experience the performance exactly as the artist intended on stage.

For Pona Sound, this project serves as yet another proof of concept: our signal processing technology delivers precisely where sonic compromises are not an option.
